What's New?
Open Circle For Change, Courage & Confidence
Want to Be Part of Something Bigger?
All it takes is Showing Up for You and Others in a Present and Vulnerable Way.
Last January, I wrapped up a Process Group that started in November of 2021. This was what is called a Closed Group which consists of the same people each week who make a commitment to be in the group for an indefinite amount of time. They leave the group when they are ready.
2025 was a year for me to take a much needed break that came perfectly timed just before my dad’s unexpected passing.
2026 is the Year of the Horse which invites us to move forward with heart, courage, and intention. This has encouraged me to create a new kind of group which could be referred to as an Open Group where participants can drop in when they feel motivated to do so.
*The caveat is that sign ups will be required no less than 2 days before the group date.
January’s OPEN CIRCLE will be on Wednesday, January 21st from 6 to 8pm in my office which holds 8 people comfortably.
Who will be the courageous 7 people who choose to dive in for this first circle of Sharing, Connecting, and Learning?
Once Open Circle gains traction, I would love to offer this Open Group twice per month - one coed and one for women. If there is enough interest for this to be online, I will consider that as an option as well.
Please inquire with me if you would like to know more about this or If You Are Ready to Sign Up Now for one of the dates below. SEE VIDEO BELOW!
The dates for Open Circle this Winter & Spring are on Wednesdays in NE Portland, Oregon from 6 to 8pm on:
January 21st
February 11th
March 11th
April 15th
May 6th
Come As You Are. Invite a friend or two. Pass this along. It is true that Community Cures!
On a separate note:
The holiday break from work was very restful and nourishing. I allowed myself to do nothing related to being productive. Whenever I noticed the ‘shoulds’ creep in, I swatted them away with a gentle ‘shhh’.
One thing I did do was read fiction in bed or by the fireplace. What a real joy this simple activity brings!
I’ve been reading books written by an Iranian woman author named Marjan Kamali. Her writing flows so naturally and eloquently. The Lion Women of Tehran and The Stationary Shop have blown my heart and mind.
And who knew that Persian culture loved poetry so much? Rumi himself is from Iran!
This fascination for poetry reminded me of how much I love to write poems so I decided to write one for the clients I worked with in 2025 and years past.
Come Back To Life
This Life
This Work
What a true gift it is,
To witness these withering flowers
Come back to Life.
They appear seeking new soil,
Solid ground from which to grow.
As we maneuver through
They are...
Watered with compassion
Fertilized by being heard
Lifted by my words.
Together we go from outside to inward,
to Rediscover a beating heart,
Torn Apart
Ready to be Mended
and Set Free from Agony.
Pain Released.
Hope Returned.
These Flowers Blossom Once Again,
To Be Beautiful and Brave
Just as they were Meant to Be,
To, For and From this Earth.
With heart,
Angela
